Borussia Monchengladbach host Bayern Munich on Saturday evening in the Bundesliga with the visitors looking for their third straight victory. We take a look at the markets which offer great value for this contest.
Team news
Borussia Monchengladbach will be without midfielders Manu Kone and Christoph Kramer, defenders Stefan Lainer and Luca Netz and goalkeeper Jonas Omlin for the visit of Bayern Munich on Saturday.
The visitors will be missing exciting winger Jamal Musiala against Augsburg after sustaining a hamstring injury in training but it appears like goalkeeper Manuel Neuer is edging closer to a return to action.
Harry Kane to score a brace at 21/10
Harry Kane has had an excellent start in his new chapter with Bayern Munich, scoring three goals in his first two Bundesliga appearances, including a brace last time out against Augsburg. The England captain’s arrival at the Allianz Arena has not only strengthened Bayern’s hold over the Bundesliga, but it has significantly bolstered their hopes for the Champions League this year.
Everyone expected him to get off the mark quickly in his new colours and we can already see that he is going to play a key role for Thomas Tuchel’s side this term. Next up for the goalscorer is Borussia Monchenglabach, who have been a somewhat bogey team for Bayern in recent years. But Kane won’t be fazed by anything like that as he is one of the game’s greatest goalscorers and he will feel confident when he takes to the pitch again this weekend.
That’s why the 21/10 price for him to score a brace against the Foals seems like great value.
Bayern Munich and both teams to score (Yes) at 21/20
As we have already touched upon, Gladbach have been a thorn in the side of Bayern in recent years, but it doesn’t seem like the Bundesliga champions should have much of a problem this time around. Their squad is far superior to everyone else in the division and with Kane leading the line, it’s hard to picture many defences being capable of keeping him quiet.
The Foals will put up a fight, as they always do when they face Bayern, but Tuchel’s side have far too much quality. Expect Bayern to come through this one with another three points on the board but don’t be surprised if Gladbach give them a scare in this one.
