Rangers made hard work of claiming maximum points against Hearts on Sunday but they will hope to keep the pressure up on Scottish Premiership leaders Celtic by winning at Dundee on Wednesday.
The Gers were behind against Hearts with four minutes remaining but gained a lifeline with a late James Tavernier penalty and then had a goal three minutes into injury-time from Brazilian substitute Danilo to thank for picking up the three points.
Dundee are fifth in the table after gaining promotion from the Championship last season and they will be looking to build on a 2-0 win at Livingston at the weekend.
Rangers are 2/5 to claim what would be their eighth win from 11 Scottish Premiership games this season, while Dundee are 7/1 for a third league victory of the campaign. If you think the points will be shared, we go 18/5 for the draw.
Over 2.5 goals is available at 8/15, while both teams to score can be backed at 8/11. Rangers forwards Danilo and Cyriel Dessers are joint favourites to score the first goal at 9/2.
Zack Robinson, Scott Tiffoney and Lyall Cameron are all pushing to be involved on Wednesday night for Dundee but Josh Mulligan has been ruled out with a hernia issue.
For Rangers, the game looks to have come too early for midfielder Tom Lawrence, who has been missing from action since the Europa League victory over Real Betis in September.
He has returned to training while Nicolas Raskin is set to miss out having left Sunday’s victory over Hearts on a stretcher.
Rangers to win & under 3.5 goals @ 13/10
The Gers had to sweat on Saturday but they should be a lot more comfortable here and can claim three points with a minimum of fuss.
They have lost to Celtic and Aberdeen at Ibrox, with the defeat to the Dons costing manager Michael Beale his job, but their away form has been solid following a 1-0 loss to Kilmarnock on the opening day.
Since that loss at Rugby Park, they have picked up 2-0 wins at Ross County and St Johnstone and won 3-0 at St Mirren. And with their last three visits to Dens Park ending in 2-1, 2-0 and 1-0 victories, it makes sense to back the Gers to win and under 3.5 goals at 13/10.
#PickYourPunt – Cyriel Dessers to score at any time, Rangers to keep a clean sheet & under 19.5 Rangers booking points @ 6/1
There are three elements that appeal for a #PickYourPunt wager which pays out at 6/1.
Rangers striker Cyriel Dessers has a disappointing goal tally of two, but 12 of his 23 shots on goal have been on target so there looks a decent chance he can make his mark on Wednesday.
The Gers have kept six clean sheets in their ten Scottish Premiership matches this season and have conceded just once in theri four games on the road, so there is a decent chance Dundee will fire a blank.
And the third element is to back Rangers to accumulate fewer than 19.5 bookings points – ten are awarded for each yellow card. They have had either none or just one booking in six of their ten league games.
