How 'Betfred' was born off the back of England's 1966 World Cup win

AC Milan have taken six points from six in their opening two matches in Serie A. They are looking to win their third game on the bounce when they travel to face Roma on Friday night. We take a look at where the value lies in this interesting contest.

Team news

Roma are still without striker Tammy Abraham and defender Marash Kumbulla for the visit of AC Milan, while midfielder Renato Sanches and forward Sardar Azmoun remain doubtful. Jose Mourinho’s side are still searching for their first win of the campaign and were left frustrated as they were beaten 2-1 by 10-man Verona last time out.

They will be boosted by the arrival of forward Romelu Lukaku on loan from Chelsea. Mourinho worked with the Belgian at Manchester United and he could be in line to make his debut against the Rossonerri

AC Milan remain without midfielder Ismael Bennacer but that hasn’t stopped them having an excellent start to the season. The Rossoneri will be gunning for a third straight victory when they face Roma at the Stadio Olimpico on Friday night.

AC Milan and over 2.5 goals at 4/1

AC Milan came from a goal behind to comfortably defeat Torino 4-1 last time out. Olivier Giroud converted two penalties while Christian Pulisic and Theo Hernandez also got on the scoresheet. Stefano Pioli’s side are out to reclaim the Serie A title after last winning it in 2021-22. Their football has been impressive so far and they are already starting to build momentum.

They are travelling to face Roma who have not enjoyed the best start so far but still can be a force to be reckoned with Mourinho at the helm and some of the players at their disposal. Milan have plenty of quality within their ranks and they should end the evening with another three points and this game should also provide an entertaining amount of goals.

Christian Pulisic to score anytime at 3/1

American winger Pulisic has had a great start to life at San Siro with Milan. The former Chelsea outcast has found the back of the net in his first two Serie A appearances, and he could be set to make it three on the spin like his team on Friday night.

He and Giroud have been in great goalscoring so far this term and Pioli will be pleased to have two of his attacking stars already getting into a rhythm as Milan look to mount another title charge.
